Intro & New Features
The Catalyst PX5 Blocker is engineered to protect goalies against the hardest shots and redirect pucks where desired. Featuring a Nash palm, straight index finger protection, and a face edge designed for deflecting pucks. This design combines fit, comfort, and performance in a game-ready, off-the-shelf package.
External Material
TRUE continues to use the traditional the JenPro material on the outer construction of this blocker. This durable material provides the blocker with a reliable and solid outer build, and it helps keeps the shape for longer. JenPro is a trusted material and is found on nearly all of TRUE's goalie equipment because of its reliability, appearance, and overall performance that it provides.
Internal Construction
The board is made up of thick HD foam and has a 595 blocker face edge. 595 is what TRUE uses to describe the side of the blocking surface. The surface is effective in bouncing the puck, thus helping and improving rebound control.
Palm Material
This blocker features a nash palm material. This material is a durable and reliable material that provides goalies with high-level protection but also top-tier comfort as well. It's design has been improved to last longer, keeping the blocker intact for longer periods of time. Additionally, its grip helps goalies hold their sticks and focus on that next save.
Cuff
With its unique design, the PX5 blocker redefines goaltending equipment. It is purposefully designed to give goalies unmatched flexibility and mobility on the ice. Hand Protection
TRUE has kept the fingers protected with a straight finger protective pad on the side. It is made of HD foams, similar to the board face. The straight finger protection keeps your fingers secure from slashes or impacts, and doesn't affect the ability to hold the stick.

Goalie Blockers Sizing
More times than not, the fit of your Goalie Blocker is often overlooked. This is likely the result of the limited size availability compared to other pieces of equipment, however a properly sized Blocker provides you the protection and stick control you trust.
Which Blocker Size is for you?
The first step to finding the correct Blocker size is to utilize the “heel-of-palm-to-tip-of-middle-finger” measurement. This measurement will generally send you to the appropriate size you need.
Analyzing the Blocker Fit
It is important to ensure that the fingers tips lie close to the seam of the palm, or within 0.5” if the Blocker is for a young growing goaltender. Next you want to ensure the adjustable wrist strap goes directly across the wrist bone, and has minimal to no interference with your chest protector. The goaltender should be able to swivel their wrist to accommodate a range of save selections without any restrictions from the chest protector. You also want to ensure that the goalie can maintain control of their stick in addition to being able to maneuver the blocker when handling the puck.
Which Hand Do I Need?
Figuring out which hand you need for your Blocker can be slightly confusing. Goalies generally refer to themselves as "REGULAR" or "FULL RIGHT". Below is the easiest way to simplify which hand you need.
