Nice and light great fit very satisfying purchase

I have a customer set of L87’s based on the 12.2’s and these are way different. They’re super stiff (which I expected) and the strapping feels tight. So I’m currently in the process of tinkering with them, however they slide well, seal to the ice is great, and butterfly closure is on point. Amazing value for the price. Very happy overall.
I was coming from an older and very soft pair of Vaughn pads. I purchased the same "size" as my original pair which had a foot cradle and this set didn't, therefore pushing them up significantly, giving me the height I wanted.
First Try: I couldn't function or move laterally when I wore them loose, I strapped them tighter at the bottom to keep them from moving up, which instantly solved it. Butterfly was never an issue either way. If you like to wear pads loose, go down a size.
Overall: They completely block the bottom of the ice perfectly, my lateral movement and slide are amazing due to the skate being able to move freely in this style of pad. I'm far from my jr. days but I can power slide like I could all those years ago!
Quality: This pad is not the pro line, but you wouldn't know it, the craftsmanship is great. Money well spent.
