Intro & New Features
The CCM JetSpeed Vibe shoulder pad mimics the look of the JetSpeed FT680 with many other similarities. It features a floating sternum and clavicle pads reinforced with PE inserts. Gear up to dominate this season with the CCM JetSpeed Vibe shoulder pads.
Shoulder Caps & Protection
The Jetspeed Control shoulder pads use JDP shoulder caps, which are molded to fit snug over the shoulders while offering max protection at a low weight and profile.
Sternum Protection
The pads have a dual-layer front construction coupled with PE foam and an anatomical molded PE plastic sternum, which allows the gear to have a low profile design and reliable protection. The vented front base and PE foam are perforated for good ventilation, keeping you cool while you play.
Spine Protection
The Jetspeed Control spine is covered with molded PE foam and plastic guards to offer a good combination of flexibility and protection in the back area. It has been anatomically molded, meaning it is designed to fit over your back naturally.
Bicep Protection
The biceps are protected with PE-molded caps, similar to the spine, for pro-level protection and comfort. They also feature length adjustments to get you the perfect custom fit.
Liner
These shoulder pads feature a sublimated liner which is lined along the inside of the pads. It is designed to keep you cool and comfortable while you play.
Sizes
The Jetspeed Control shoulder pads come in sizes Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large.

Player Shoulder Pad Sizing
Sizing before Purchase
To fit for a properly sized shoulder pad, you will need a soft tape measurer to measure and record your chest measurement. To do this, find the widest point of your chest (usually just below your armpits) and measure the circumference. Record the measurement in inches and compare to the available sizing charts in each brand. Also compare your height, weight and age to find your best fit.
Sizing after Purchase
Once you have received your new shoulder pad, stand in front of a mirror and strap them on. You will want to check the follow criteria to ensure a proper and protective fit.
1. The tips of your shoulder are sitting directly under the middle of the shoulder cap. If you are checking sizing for a child, it is ok for the tips of their shoulder to be under the inner half of the cap.
- This is important because if the shoulder cap does not sit in the correct position, your clavicles, shoulders, and upper arms can become more susceptible to injury.
- Adjust the bicep guards using the Velcro straps located underneath the shoulder caps (if applicable). At the highest point, the bicep guards should not be more than halfway down the upper arm. This is important because they can interfere with your elbow pads, throwing off the fit.
If you are checking sizing for a child, it is ok for the tips of their shoulder to be under the inner half of the cap and not directly in line with the middle.
