CCM FTW Shoulder Pad Sizing
Sizing before Purchase
To fit for a properly sized shoulder pad, you will need a soft tape measurer to measure and record your chest measurement. To do this, find the widest point of your chest (usually just below your armpits) and measure the circumference. Record the measurement in inches and compare to the available sizing charts in each brand. Also compare your height, weight and age to find your best fit.
Sizing after Purchase
Once you have received your new shoulder pad, stand in front of a mirror and strap them on. You will want to check the follow criteria to ensure a proper and protective fit.
1. The tips of your shoulder are sitting directly under the middle of the shoulder cap. If you are checking sizing for a child, it is ok for the tips of their shoulder to be under the inner half of the cap.
2. The bicep guards are positioned maximum halfway down the upper arm.
FTW Specific Sizing (Senior)
1. Adjust Chest Coverage by using the straps located on the front section of the pad. Pulling the strap towards the armpit allows for more coverage and pulling towards the sternum pad for less coverage.
2. Adjust Volume by pulling the ADPTFIT 3D tab located at the bottom of the sternum pad. The lower front panel can be pulled up to reduce bust volume or pulled down to increase bust volume.
3. Secure the pad to the body by pulling the length adjustable chest straps located on the back panel of the pad and attaching it to the front. This strap length can be adjusted on the back panel of the pad, to make it shorter or longer.
4. Final touches: Once the pad is adjusted, fix the bicep height if needed. To do this, adjust the vertical strap under the shoulder caps, moving the bicep pad up and down. Have the player move around to ensure all adjustments are as comfortable as possible.
If you are checking sizing for a child, it is ok for the tips of their shoulder to be under the inner half of the cap and not directly in line with the middle.
