The Hockey Shop is proud to offer a very extensive selection of hockey sticks in stock. With over 6,000 sticks to choose from, we understand that selecting a new stick can get a bit overwhelming. Fortunately, we have experts on site who know all the current ins and outs of hockey sticks and can help you find the perfect one for you. Of course, players vary in skill and style, and similarly, every player responds differently to different gear. You may have already done some research and know what stick you want, or you got some help from our experts here at the Shop, but if the stick doesn’t feel right or its stiffness feels unnatural to you, then even the highest-end stick could hinder your game very easily. And unfortunately, it can be difficult to determine if a stick feels right while not out on the ice.

That’s why The Hockey Shop is equipped with a Stick Demo Zone—so you can have a place to try out that stick you’re looking at before you purchase.

Our Stick Demo Zone is also a great place to try out different curves, flexes, and kick points. Maybe you’ve been using a Bauer P92 curve but want something that can help improve your backhand? Someone might suggest a P88 or P28, but you can’t be absolutely sure of the curve that’s right for you unless you try it out first. Similarly, flexes are constant across all brands in terms of number, but some sticks may still feel stiffer than others (for example, a 75 flex mid kick CCM Tacks stick could feel stiffer or more flexible compared to a 75 flex mid kick TRUE Catalyst stick, depending on your preferences). That’s why it’s good to try out different sticks before deciding what’s best for you.
