The E-Flex 2 series launched on April 10th. Along with the release of the E-Flex 2 leg pad, trapper & blocker, CCM has expanded their goalie stick line up. New 860 & 1060 series foam core construction sticks replace the popular 400 & 500 series. CCM has also added the 760 series full wood stick at the opening price point, and the E-Flex 2 hybrid composite shaft/foam core paddle at a new high end price point of $199. The CCM brand has entered into the category of hybrid goal sticks with the extremely light weight E-Flex 2 goal stick featuring a composite shaft and thinner paddle design. It is the lightest and stiffest foam core stick they have ever made. Having such a light stick with the traditional feel and durability that foam core sticks are known for will appeal to a lot of goalies. The E-Flex 2 stick will also feature a 30 day manufacturer warranty. A shared feature on both the E-Flex 2 goal stick and the 1060 series stick is a foam core wood shaft stick with carbon fibre laminated blade. Originally premiered on the CCM 500 goal stick, this carbon laminate is a much stiffer & lighter material than traditional fibreglass and also significantly increases blade durability. If traditional fibreglass is what you are familiar with, and you have used a CCM 400 goal stick before, the E-Flex 860 is a great choice. This is the same foam core/wood shaft design as the 1060 series, but with traditional fibreglass reinforcement at a more reasonable price.

Finally, the 760 is a new price point for CCM, which is a full ash wood stick for the easiest stick on the wallet in CCM’s new range. Simple and durable are the two best words to describe the 760, and you will be sure to see a ton of them in the hands of goalies everywhere.
